This tough-looking and wonderfully understated Looker is owned by Thomas Andersson, who is another member from Der Bruckenrenners (DBR) in Sweeden. The car is a satin grey 56, equipped with a stock interior, Berg shifter, and a 5" Autometer tach. Tomas added Centerlines, with a set of 225/60/15 BF Drag Radials on the rear.

2165cc (78x94). AS21 case, Pauter crank, C/M 5.5" rods. Heads are FAT (non-welded) 40 x 35. Carbs are 48 IDAs w/40mm venturies, on top of Scat Trak manifolds. Cam is an Engle 140, and compression is pegged at 10:1. Exhaust is a Phoenix/Berg 1 5/8" merged unit w/a 2.5" Turbo muffler. Distributor is a 003 (?) with a Pertronix Ignitor, MSD 6AL box, and a 3 step module. Power transfers to the tranny with a KEP 2300lb. pressure plate and 4-puck disc.

FAT-built 3.88 r&p, running 4.11, 2.47, 1.65, and 1.21 4th gears. A Superdiff, SAW axles were also added. Best time in the 8th mile is a 8.21 @ 82 mph (132 kph) w/a 1.79 60 ft time.
