Phil Brown hails from Santee, California, and drives this 10-second all-steel '62 sedan, which runs a full interior. Phil gave the car the "Cal-Look treatment," dechroming the bodywork, removing the turn signals, and painting the car mint green. The interior runs in-dash gauges, including a tachometer with a shiftlight, and a roll cage built to NHRA specs.
Phil's best time (as of this writing) is an incredible 10.37 at 129.13 MPH on nitrous! What's even more incredible? We'll let Phil explain: ". . . this car still logs a lot of miles on the street by my wife delivering
her Avon orders because she says it's more fun to drive than her new car."
Avon calling . . .
