Don Bulitta, from Phoenix, Arizona, purchased this '66 from the original owner way back in 1984. This L519 Bahama Blue beauty has logged over 400,000 miles since new!

The car is fitted with Flat-4 BRMs, the interior is beige vinyl with oatmeal carpeting, and a Flat-4 reproduction Empi GT steering wheel and a Berg locking 5 speed shifter have been fitted. An NOS trip speedometer has also been installed.

For the suspension, Don fitted a 2" narrowed beam with dropped spindles running KYB GR-2 shocks and stock brakes. The rear uses Sway-A-Away adjustable spring plates and Porsche 356B brakes.

Berg 2007cc (all parts are Berg unless otherwise noted): new AS 41 case; 78mm forged crank; 12.5lb flywheel; Eagle 5.352" rods with ARP 2000 bolts running Michigan 77 rod bearings; CIMA (Mahle) pistons and cylinders (cylinders have been shortened .040); Cima rings with Total Seal modified 2nd ring; Web 86b cam with Weisman lifters (run-in by Berg); 1.4 rockers; welded heads (ported & polished by Mick Wooten); Manley stainless steel 40 mm x 37.5 mm valves; dual springs; 80,000 psi chromoly pushrods; 6.9 to 1 c/r; Bosch 009 distributor with Pertronix ignitor and a Blue Coil; Bosch W8AC plugs; Berg-Weber dual 44DCNFs with Berg linkage; 1 5/8" merged header with owner made heater boxes and single Dynomax Super Turbo muffler; F&S German heavy duty pressure plate with an Art Thraen rigid disk; 30mm oil pump with a pressure relief cover and full flow oiling; Oberg oil filter; Kymco external oil cooler; stock German tin with thermostat and flaps; Type IV "dog house" oil cooler.
