This is our good friend, Troy Palmer's European '60 sunroof. Troy (and his car) hail from California, but he's currently living in Illinois on work assignment. Every chance he gets, he heads west and takes the '60 for a spin. This is your stereotypical virgin Southern California car. The car runs 5 genuine Speedwell BRMs. John from Cal-Look.com had the pleasure of touring around So Cal in this car while attending the Classic. Blue skies, VWs, with the sunroof cranked back; it doesn't get any better! Upon returning home, John had to fight the urge to take a jig saw to our '67's roof, and let the sunshine in.

Currently stock, but Troy has been patiently assembling all the right parts. The motor will be 82 x 90.5, Denham heads, NOS 48 IDAs with NOS EMPI linkage and manifolds. It will hopefully be assembled this winter, and if all goes well, we should see Troy blasting down the 1/4 mile at the DKP III drag days nexy year.

Currently stock, but a built close ratio 4 speed (probably a 1.12 4th gear) will take its place.
