THE DEANO DYNO SOARS RACE CARS... STILL EXISTING TODAY !!!

THE D.D.S. SUPER BEETLE : This Deano built machinery is not very known compare to others VW drag he built, but this particular car deserve much attention as it does today (I'm sure not some many french readers already seen this car ;).

I'm sure you too find this car outstanding. This Pro Sedan Super beetle was built and driven by Deano in the 80's. The car is still in excellent shape today.

In fact, Car is now owned by Mark RIELLY, who married Dean's daughter, Marla LOWRY. He put it back running on the streets and I have to admit that's a increduble sight to see the Top chopped Super Bee driven on the streets next to Honda Civic and others modern ugly cars...

Car is powered by a 3 ltr motor and is still today the only unblown and no NOS Bug to EVER Get into the 9s at the dragstrips...

You can trust me whan I say that this car is low... very low... surely the lowest VW I have ever meet...

Note the carbs size and the exhaust shape. Now imagine this car parking just in front of you at your local supermarket... Crazy...

These pictures are my personal ones. I took them at DKP dairy queen meeting last June.

Last, but not least, the Pro Sedan by night... Picture courtesy of KOBUS.

THE DRY LAKES PURPLE SUPER BEETLE : Deano last Baby as tells Marla...
Deanos.jpg
This purple Super Bee is Deano latest race car. Was built for Bonneville racing. Car was capable of speed around 130 mph. Not bad for an heavy Super Beetle. Actual owner is Mark RIELLY.

Unfortunately, I haven't any details about specs of the engine. If someone could help...

Note that the above and engine pictures are from DUFF
