MARTIN GREAVES '66

I have to admit that the car owner didn't sent me much details about his ride, but it looked so well, I just had to publish it here.

From what I know, car's engine is a full 2180cc powerplant with big famous 48IDA. I really don't want to make mistakes about specs of the car, so I just let you enjoy the pictures below... Just some words about the interior : look at this neat Autometer gauges location, and what about this EMPI steering wheel... I'm green with envy...

SEBASTIEN CARREL '68

This late model '68 belong to Sébastien Carrel, a 25 year old mechanic from South of France.

The car is a '68 1500. Body is all stock. Pan feature a 7 cm narrowed front beam. Rims are those sought after Mahle Gasburners which are detailed to the max. Interior of the car feature Bernard Newbury front seats with EMPI logo, some Simpsons Lap belt as well as one famous Automoter tacho, no back seat, while steering wheel is a Grant.

Engine is a reliable 1776cc with an Engle 110 cam, cylinder heads with 40 & 35.5, some hi perf rocker arms,2 Weber IDF 44 and a Remmele linkage.

Undoubtly a neat looking car. Great work Sébastien.

ERIC BERTRAND '56

This awesome '56 oval window belong to Eric BERTRAND who lives in Paris. Here are the comments of the owner...

Bought the car in 1997. Car came from sweden, pretty good shape but looks very bad. 4 years after, restoring is almost finished car features original pan, original fenders, conv decklid, Paint is Porsche metalic gray, brakes are T3 drums for rear and stock vw disks for front along with 205 GTI calipers, custom made shorter link pin front end, forged dropped spindles and 90/10 shocks.

Engine is a 2161cc: 84mm bugpack wedgemated crank, 5.5" Bugpack rods, 90.5 mahle pistons (will switch for 94 Wiseco pistons along with Autocraft long cyl this winter), 44*37.5 fully ported S/E heads, FK89 cam, 1.4 Scat rockers, 8.5 CR, 48 IDA, MSD6AL and MSD distributor, Berg 1 3/4 header and stainless steel custom made muffler.

Trans was made by Carter gear box a long time ago 4.12R&P 3.78/2.21 (original FTC main) 1.48/1.04

Car belongs to The WPK (Water Pump Killer), a Vw club from Paris that will show up bunch of fast cars in the next drag events...
